From the day of your booking, We have the perfect sound solution for your Reception & cater for all Weddings in Durban & KZN. You have the option of booking just your Reception OR both Ceremony & Reception - the choice is yours.

A Wedding as a whole is one of the most exciting moments of one’s life. To many, choosing a DJ for your wedding is always one of the last services you think of when planning your wedding.. Remember, your DJ makes or breaks your special day & as the saying goes..

Ceremony (Optional)

The following is included when booking your ceremony:

:  Wireless Lapel or Handheld Microphone for the marriage officer
:  Background music for your guests.
:  Processional & Recessional music of your choice
:  Hymn Backing Tracks
:  Music for signing of the register
:  As an optional extra - we can also provide all the necessary PA & Sound equipment for singers & bands

Pre-drinks

We setup a seperate PA Systems with some background music of your choice for your guests whilst the Bride & Groom have gone for photographs.

How we work...

As the vast majority of our work comes through word-of-mouth. Because of this, I have always maintained the highest standards in my preparation for events and in the delivery of my services. I also have a constant eye on my future development as a professional entertainer and, in light of this,

IF YOU BOOK ME, YOU GET ME

My work is thoroughly bespoke and delivered with passion, precision and professionalism. For these reasons, if you book with KZN Wedding DJ, you get Jarryd Sunkel – because only I can deliver a service this Professional & unique. I do have a range of other professional DJs who I like to call my alliance partners in the industry. Should I be booked on your Wedding date, you have the option of booking any of my alliance partners for your Big Day.

APPEARANCE IS EVERYTHING

I always dress smartly for events, usually either in a stylish dark tuxedo with my iconic Red Bow tie or in general black pants with a White collared shirt.  If clients have a preference, this can be stated on the planning form. I also ensure that I dress appropriately when setting up my equipment. Our Sound equipment is well presented and all neatly setup. Many DJs setup their system with wires looking like crows nests – this is not on. We ensure all cables are neatly tucked away or duct-taped down. We are the manufacturers of a unique concept called “Speaker Skirts”. These “skirts”wrap around the speaker stand of which hold out speakers and these ensure our equipment blend in with your draping at your Wedding venue.

LOGISTICS

I arrive a minimum of 90 Minutes before your ceremony or reception in order to set up the Sound & Lighting equipment.

I generally bring an assistant with me to all Weddings however this also depends on the Wedding itself. Should this be a smallish PAX (Amount of guests), an assistant is not needed.

You will always receive a booking form from me, which details the following information concerning your event:

• Start/end times

• The Agree Fee and any extras included

• Song Choices Document (Helps you list your songs)

• Invoice (including bank details)

• Amount for deposit to confirm the booking

• Price for additional hours

• Full Terms & Conditions

REQUESTS

Upon confirming your Wedding or Event with us, we offer you the opportunity of providing us with a list of your TOP 30 Favorites, which you would like to hear on the night of your Wedding.

Our music collection ranges from the 50’s all the way through to the new hits of 2014 and cater  for all your guests music tastes. We do take requests on the night of your wedding but can’t guarantee these will definitely be played

MEMORIES OF YOUR WEDDING

I have , since a young age simply loved photography and have since made it a sideline hobby which I implement into my Wedding Packages. I take a few shots at each Wedding I am involved in and give these to you a week after you wedding.  These can be seen on our Blog.

WE PROVIDE BACKUP

I carry spare equipment should any of my gear malfunction for any reason, and have full emergency breakdown cover should anything happen to my vehicle on the way to an event. All our sound equipment is maintained on a regular basis to ensure reliability and confidence. As with all electronic equipment, failures do happen which is why we carry a Backup to ensure the seamless transition of service.
