Jarryd Sunkel, a prominent Durban & KZN Midlands Wedding DJ, is the proud founder and owner of KZN Wedding DJ. Jarryd is married to his lovely wife, Emma, who manages KZN Wedding DJ’s sister company, Photobooth LAB, Jarryd brings a wealth of experience and passion to his craft.

As a dynamic and dedicated Wedding DJ and Master of Ceremonies, Jarryd specializes in weddings and corporate events. He also provides his expertise for a variety of other celebrations, such as birthdays, anniversaries, and year-end functions. With over 21 years of experience, Jarryd combines professionalism with a deep understanding of what it takes to create a memorable dance floor experience.

Jarryd's exceptional ability to connect with guests makes him an ideal choice for any event. His music repertoire spans from the early 1970s through the 2000s, including today’s popular hits. Although not a club DJ, Jarryd can effortlessly entertain and engage younger audiences.

“I began my DJ career in 2003, accumulating 21 years of extensive wedding and dance floor experience. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of contributing to numerous beautiful wedding celebrations. My goal is to keep your guests dancing all night, and I believe I’ve mastered the art of doing just that. I’m known for providing top-quality service in both the wedding and corporate sectors. Additionally, my involvement in Toastmasters competitions has led me to become a professional MC for weddings and corporate events."

Jarryd & his team were absolutely amazing. The songs I requested were always played exactly on time & there was never a lull moment. The photobooth was also fantastic! Many years ago we were lucky enough to have Jarryd as the DJ at our wedding and on Saturday we were once again blessed when he got to DJ at our son's wedding! Jarryd and Emma were the dream team and did both our DJ and Photobooth setup! We cannot thank you enough for everything you both did! We had the most amazing and enjoyable evening, and Jarryd went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Our wedding truly would not have been the same without him there! Everyone loved the music and this could be seen by the fact that our dance floor was never empty, but rather people were dancing constantly.
