WEDDINGS
Every wedding deserves a picturesque setting, and ours truly ticks that box. Between the 100 year old buildings, the giant fig trees and the breathtaking scenery surrounding the dam, you will have the perfect backdrop for the perfect day.
When planning a wedding, you want the experience to be fun and stress-free. Here at Thorner, Chey will make sure that every base is covered in the way that you dreamed, so that you get to enjoy the fun stuff.
The best part? We have no curfew, so the party can go on until the guests can’t dance anymore! and that's where KZN Wedding DJ come into the equation..
THE STONE CHAPEL
A chapel with a backdrop like this is certainly not dime a dozen - it really is something special.
Seating up to 200 people, this 100-year-old stone building was originally the dairy, and has since been refurbished and made into a beautiful chapel - without losing any of its original charm. Our pews and the giant double doors at the entrance are made with oregon pine and the backdrop is courtesy of Mother Nature herself.
THE RECEPTION VENUE
This is where all the fun happens! After the ceremony is finished and the photographer is done snapping away at the bridal party, the eating, speeches and dancing can commence!
Once again, we have retained an original stone building and converted the interior to seat up to 200 guests. The layout has been designed for maximum comfort and practicality, and the view isn’t too shabby either.
The venue boasts a double-sided bar that can be accessed from the veranda and inside (very handy) and is fully stocked with all of the favourites, including beers, ciders, spirits and soft drinks.
ACCOMMODATION
